Canalfest 2012

Delaware City celebrates the town’s colorful, rich history during the annual Canal Fest in September. The event is a mix of blues music, art in the park and an assortment of well-known artisans. The event usually kicks off at 10 a.m. the Delaware City Riverfront Park, located at the foot of Clinton Street. The event is free. This small community, tucked away along the last of the historic Chesapeake & Delaware Branch Canal locks and the Delaware River welcomes everyone to enjoy the Delaware City Canal Fest! Don’t miss the fun and entertainment!

There is usually space for a few more artists and crafters. If interested, call (302) 757-4662 for details on registration. Spaces are $40 and there is no late registration fee.
