Delaware City’s historic Town Hall was constructed in 1883 as the Delaware City School. It housed grades from 1-12 until the “new” Delaware City School was constructed at 5th & Bayard in 1930. The building was later used as a Parish hall and school by St. Paul’s Church. The City acquired the building for Town Hall in 1969. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Delaware City Historic District.
